OptoFidelity has completed the sale of its Circular Economy business to Assurant, a global leader in device protection and lifecycle management. The transaction includes OptoFidelity’s portfolio of mobile device test automation solutions, which have been widely adopted by leading mobile device manufacturers, retailers, and service providers worldwide.
The acquisition enables Assurant to further strengthen its automation capabilities in device processing, repair, refurbishment, and resale while supporting the growing demand for certified pre-owned devices and circular economy services.
For OptoFidelity, the transaction marks a strategic step in sharpening its focus on advanced optical testing and measurement solutions. The company will continue to develop innovative test systems for customers across industries, helping them improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and technological innovation.
